About The Fortune Theatre

The Fortune is the first new London theatre built after World War One. It's a miniature version of the bigger West End venues surrounding it with just 435 seats, making it the perfect setting for its long-running tenant, The Woman In Black. As soon as you step through the doors of this tiny theatre you practically enter the auditorium. There is no grand foyer or large bar area, just the most ornate and beautiful theatre space you can imagine. Opened in 1924, it's a genuine gem in the heart of London’s theatreland.

Boring, not funny
I did not find the storyline funny or interesting. But obviously the active in music. It was good but just nothing to the storyline. Left at intermission

Such a great performance
I have seen the film, which was fantastic however this brought a different perspective to the story. So good, and had so many great moments. Definitely recommend, wonderful actors brought the story to life

Second Time Seeing Operation Mincemeat
It was well worth seeing Operation Mincemeat a second time. Saw it when it opened in 2023 and took 2 American friends to see it yesterday. They loved it. We watched "The Man Who Never Was" (1956 film) after seeing the play. It's brilliant and creative how the musical followed the true story. Tonight we'll watch "Operation Mincemeat" (2021 film) to compare and contrast.
